The Days in the Diocese of Jeonju is being prepared with the goal of 100% homestay participation!

Why Homestay?

For many pilgrims who have participated in World Youth Day (WYD), the most memorable experience has been homestay.

In a foreign country, among unfamiliar people:

• being genuinely welcomed and living together
• goes beyond a simple trip or program
• and becomes a lasting memory in life

Homestay in the Diocese of Jeonju

During the Days in the Diocese of Jeonju, pilgrims will stay with local families and:

• share meals together
• talk about their day
• live out their faith together

Through this, we invite pilgrims to experience the “Church within the family.”

Homestay Is More Than Accommodation

It is not just a place to stay, but a time to live together.

Unlike a hotel, staying in a home creates a true encounter between people.

More Important Than Language
